A large number of prosperous corporations are born out of necessity and Laura Ashley isn't any exception. Inside the early 1950's, Laura and her husband Bernard lived in Pimlico, central London exactly where Laura supplemented her revenue planning head scarves, napkins and tea towels which were printed on the device created by her engineering husband Bernard. She located inspiration inside the Albert Museum for Victorian influenced designs, but having small inside the way of examples of Victorian samples with which she could function.
